About Us

We present artworks – especially painting – created by Herjaka, an Indonesian artist specializing on Wayang themes and characters. Most of those characters are same with characters of wayang kulit. Wayang kulit or also called shadow puppet theatre is one of Indonesian masterpiece acknowledged by UNESCO. Beside the classical moments based on Mahabharata or Ramayana epics, he also presents contemporary social and humanity themes in his paintings.
